Blueberry Scones with White Chocolate Sauce
INGREDIENTS:
-225g self-raising flour
-1T baking powder
-Pinch of salt
-2T sugar
-1T butter
-Blueberries (own choice of amount)
-1 egg (beaten)
-150mL milk
-Milk chocolate (own choice of amount)
METHOD:
1. Preheat oven to 200°C
2. Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar into a large mixing bowl
3. Stir in blueberries
4. Rub butter into the flour
5. Combine the egg and milk in a jug
6. Stir mixture into the flour to make a dough
7. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 30 seconds
8. Make 8 rounds, brush tops with milk and place on baking tray
9. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden
10. Melt the milk chocolate to drizzle over the scones
